The Left Way to Look for a New Job

Looking for a new job is a depressing activity.
You keep looking and looking and finally, you decide that you are on a wrong career from the very beginning and start thinking of a new one.

There are tons of articles talking about the 'Right' ways to look for a job but all seem to be useless.
Thus I decided to write about the 'Left' way of looking for a job, hoping it is more useful.
All readers are welcome to contribute to this article and enrich it with their own experiences.

Suppose you are in Krakozhia looking for a new job there.
Of course you know that the tld of Krakozhia is .kr, i.e. all websites in Krakozhia end with .kr, for example, Krakozhia.kr

Here begins our lifelong journey of looking for a new job in Krakozhia.
Simply follow the below steps:

  1.      Open your favorite search engine.
  2.      Search for .kr; This will list all websites ending in .kr which is the TLD of Krakozhia. This means all Krakozhia organizations’ websites will be listed.  Also, add this term to google alerts.  Another term can be added is ‘job’ within Krakozhia only.
  3.      Open each website.
  4.      In the career section, do all the following:
a.      Apply directly for a job posting,
b.      Send your resume,
c.      Register in the jobs web portal, and
d.      Copy the recruitment email address and paste it in the TO field of a new mail.
  5.      Open the Contact Us section, copy the contact email addresses and paste them in the CC field of the same new mail you created in step 4.d.
  6.      Open all social media links and like or follow them.
  7.      In the Facebook page:
a.      open About section, copy the listed email address there and paste it in the cc field of the same new mail you created in step 4.d.
b.      Send a message having your cv to the page.
  8.      In google plus page:
a.      Go to the about section and copy the provided email address to the cc field of the same new mail you created in step 4.d.
b.      You will find links to other social pages, open them all.

  9.      In the LinkedIn page, you will find on the right side of the page a number standing for the count of your second-degree connections (employees) to that organization; connect to all of them.  Look for any HR manager in your first-degree LinkedIn connections and send your cv to him directly.
  10. In YouTube page:
a.      You will find in the bottom right corner of the logo links to other social pages links, open them all.
b.      Go to About section.  You may find more social pages’ links to open.  You may also find an email address that you can add to the cc field of the same new mail you created in step 4.d
111. Send the magic mail.

After sending about 5000 mails using the abovementioned recipe, you will find out that no one called you.
This is simply because you forgot to attach your brilliant cv before sending the mails.

Happy journey to the middle of nowhere.
